Lanker is a suave young man who is always up for a fight, ready for any adventure, and sure that he'll get any girl that he sets his eyes on. However, Lanker does have quite the skill to back up his cockiness. Lanker is the only son to an obsessive map maker and
census operator, and even though maps aren't used anymore, Lanker has successfully memorized every single continent, country, state, and city in both the new and old world. Much to his dismay, Lanker's father usually refers to him as "Atlas" for his geography skills. In addition to this, Lanker is also trilingual (fluent in English, Spanish, and French). There are many parts of his life, childhood in particular, that he never talks about, growing unusually quiet when they are mentioned. Lanker is usually at odds with his brother-in-law, Senna Angevine, but does see him as family.

Friendship means a lot to Lanker, and he truly has a tight brotherly bond with nearly every crew mate.
