Nicknamed “Fay” by Captain Scarlet, Faylin is the personal assistant/ 2nd in command to Scarlet. He met Scarlet when Scarlet was exploring the destroyed sector 8. Faylin, a worker at a nearby tavern helped Scarlet on his path, but before Scarlet leaves, he sympathizes with the lonely humanoid and invites him to come along. Faylin has very masked emotions, tends to be the calmest and most levelheaded of the entire crew. However, has he loosens up, and thanks to Scarlet's influence, Faylin slowly becomes his own person and becomes more in-tuned with his emotions.

Faylin is a 400 year old humanoid who was created by Dr. Cyryl Plaski. Faylin was made in the image of Cyryl's late daughter, Nilya Plaski, who died early in life due to Cyryl's experimentation.  Faylin is a unique being who, like Scarlet, is the first of his kind. The Hybrid Serum (the serum that can turn humans into hybrids) was created inside of him and flows through his veins, making him the infamous "Hybrid Mother". Due to Faylin's DNA ties with Nilya, Faylin is the only humanoid who has real human emotions and a real human conscience.  Faylin is very attached to Scarlet, and holds him in the highest regard, even putting his own life at risk multiple times to ensure Scarlet's safely. Faylin already agreed that he would stay by Scarlet's side after their quest comes to a close.

Fun Fact: Despite the fact that Faylin doesn't have a "race", Faylin's creator was Polish. This would make Faylin's DNA (from Cyryl's daughter) Polish by default
