Scarlet Hakimi (R-001)

Scarlet, known as R-001 to his parents and a few others, is the protagonist of The Xenon Tech Archives. Scarlet is best described as a prototype since he is the first true nanoid-human fusion in history. This means that there is no telling what Scarlet is truly capable of. As a young boy, his parents raised Scarlet to be the perfect weapon against Salem, hiding his true powers from him. Persephone and Emme, his neighbors, were the only people in his life that treated him as a actual person. 

Scarlet has a strong sense of justice that can sometimes be skewed due to his emotions. Due to his parents cruel behaviors, he is untrusting of strangers, yet becomes attached to "parental figures" like Faylin and Persephone very easily.

Scarlet is very fond of Faylin, and says numerous times that he sees Faylin as the other half of him. He is fully convinced that after the battle with Salem is over, he and Faylin will stay together.

APPEARANCE /ATTITUDE: 

  • Mischievous teen boy and protagonist to the series. 

  • A humanized weapon, and the “only” one who can kill Lord Salem. 

  • The only child of Lyrik (the leader of the rebel group Discordia) and Sabra Hakimi. 

  • A headstrong leader who puts his mission above all else. 

  • Attractive teenage boy who flatters with his adventurous, mischievous, boy-like charm. 

  • Though he dislikes is, he looks identical to his mother (adding to his already androgynous appearance) 

QUIRKS: 

  • Deathly afraid of sunflowers and the dark

  • Is an acrophiliac (has an unusual love for heights)  

  • Has a wide array of powers that come and go as he gets older. 

  • While he has limited knowledge of normal human behaviors (especially romantic ones), the majority of his human knowledge was learned through Persephone. 

  • While Scarlet has strong feelings for Persephone, Persephone does not feel the same way. 

  • Scarlet has been told that he idolizes his father to a fault.
